THE THIRD STIMULUS CHECK AND YOUR

The IRS began issuing letters in the mail that includes information about your third stimulus check.
In Jan 2022 the IRS sent letter 1444-C
to confirm the amount of the
3rd stimulus payment.
Compare the information on the letter with the information listed on the IRS website for accuracy
A large amount of the letters that were sent out have the wrong information.
If you enter the wrong information on your tax return you may be dinged for an audit.
If you are over the age of 17 and someone has claimed you as a dependent on their tax tax return the IRS will not issue you a stimulus payment
